To replace the high-pressure diesel pump on an Alfa Romeo 147, you need to remove the side covers protecting the timing belt. To remove the covers, loosen the corresponding bolts. Next, remove the engine support rod by loosening the relevant screws. After securing the diesel pump pulley, loosen the central pin and remove the corresponding shaft. At this point, you can loosen the bolts, disconnect the hoses and connector attached to the high-pressure pump, and remove it. Once removed, the pump can be replaced.
