Operation: How do you replace the high pressure diesel fuel pump of the Alfa Romeo 147?

In order to replace the high pressure diesel fuel pump of the Alfa Romeo 147, the side covers that are located to protect the timing belt must be removed. To remove the covers it will be necessary to loosen the relative bolts. Subsequently, it will be necessary to remove the connecting rod of the engine support by loosening the corresponding screws. After locking the diesel pump pulley, it will be necessary to loosen the central pin and remove the relative shaft. At this point it will be possible to loosen the bolts, disconnect the pipes and the connector connected to the high pressure pump and remove it. Once removed, the pump can be replaced.
