Adjusting the Gear Lever for Gear Engagement

If engaging gears feels slightly obstructed, almost 'sticky', it is likely due to a sticking selector in the gearbox caused by wear on the sliding bush. This fault can be easily repaired as a replacement bush is available, but to access it, you must remove the battery and its housing along with the intake hose. Once the work area is clear, unscrew the selector's securing nut and remove it from its housing to take out the worn bush and insert the new one, lubricating everything with grease. After the repair, gear engagement will become much smoother and easier.
