Oil and Engine Filter Replacement
Model: Audi A4
B6
- Years 2000-2004
It is recommended to lift the vehicle on a lift. Remove the screws securing the splash shield and take it off: you can see the oil pan and the drain plug located on the side.
Using a 10mm hex wrench, loosen the plug and, after placing a container of suitable capacity to hold the used oil (which must be disposed of properly), remove the plug (to allow for proper drainage, it is advisable to remove the engine oil filler cap). Once the oil has completely drained, reinstall the plug (also replacing the gasket if necessary) and tighten it properly. Reattach the splash shield. During the oil draining phase, ensure the vehicle is level: if you used a jack to lift it on one side to facilitate the removal of the splash shield and plug, it is advisable to lower it during the draining phase. At this point, remove the engine cover by simply pulling it upward and locate the oil filter container (which is a cartridge type) near the coolant reservoir. Using a 24mm socket wrench, loosen the cap and remove it along with the old cartridge. Then detach the old cartridge from the cap, replace the o-ring on the cap with a new one (always included in the new filter packaging) and lubricate it with oil for better adherence. Attach the new cartridge to the cap and insert it into the container, then screw it back on, tightening the cap to a torque of 18 lb-ft. Finally, fill the engine with new oil according to SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the vehicle's owner's manual. Properly screw on the oil filler cap, start the engine, ensuring that the oil pressure warning light turns off immediately, and if necessary, manually reset the service light (with the ignition off, press the trip reset button and while holding it, turn on the ignition for about 10 seconds).

How to Replace the Rear Headlight Bulbs on a Peugeot 308
Are the rear lights on your Peugeot 308 SW not working? This video shows how to replace the damaged bulbs. Open the boot lid, and using a screwdriver, unscrew (with a socket wrench or screwdriver with a bit) the securing nuts located at the side of the rear headlight. Once the headlight is free from any constraints, detach it from the bodywork (disconnect the relevant power connectors). Replace the damaged bulbs with identical ones in size and voltage. Finally, refit the headlight and reverse the assembly of the other parts. by ScegliAuto More videos
