How to disassemble, repair and reassemble the windshield washer nozzle of the Audi A3 MK2.

In this video we can see how to remove, repair and reassemble the windshield washer nozzle of an Audi A3 Sportback MK2: the youtuber could hear the motor running, but the spray was not coming out, so he suspected a fault in the nozzle. We remove the cover being careful not to break the plastics. Underneath we find the nozzle, which we can lift by levering with a small screwdriver; in fact inside we find a lot of rust, resulting from the fact that the car has been stationary for a long time, and the nozzle has not worked in the meantime. On the nozzle there is the part code if we intend to buy it new. The rear wash was activated to see if the water was coming correctly; if not, we would have had to check under the car, to highlight any water leaks, near the wheel arch, which needs to be removed to reattach the hose, which may have come loose. For cleaning we will need a thin needle, to clean inside the nozzles: but be careful not to break the tip of the needle inside! Once the nozzle is clean, put it back in place by pressing firmly, then reattach the cover and now let's do a test: it works but it's off target. We can try to adjust the direction, wetting the tip of the needle to give the desired direction and trying again.
