How do you activate and deactivate the passenger airbag in an Audi A3/S3?

There are cases where it is necessary to deactivate the passenger airbag for safety reasons, for example if you need to install a rear-facing child seat on the passenger seat. To do this, look for the control on the side of the dashboard, passenger side; you will find a lock with the airbag icon. Use the car key to turn it to OFF. On the dashboard, you will see a light confirming the deactivation. When the seat is no longer needed, remember to reactivate it by turning the key to ON because the airbag is essential for adult safety. If you have doubts, always check the manual of your car and if you do not feel comfortable doing these operations alone, call an expert.
