Cleaning the MAF sensor of the Audi

To clean the MAF sensor of Audi vehicles, open the hood of the engine compartment, use a 10mm key to loosen and remove the clamp of the negative battery terminal, remove the plastic cover above the sensor, disconnect the electrical connector, use a flat-blade screwdriver to loosen the clamp of the outlet tube and remove it, use a ratchet key with extension and a 10mm socket to unscrew the four screws that secure the sensor and remove it. Spray a specific sensor cleaner inside and wait for it to dry completely. Put the sensor back in place, screw in the screws, insert the tube tightening the clamp, insert the connector, put the covers back on and connect the negative battery terminal.
