How to disassemble the fuel pump of an Audi A4 B8 version

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016
Part: Fuel pump

If we want to change the fuel pump of an Audi A4 B8 version, we need to know that the pump is located under the rear bench, behind the right front seat. Once the bench is removed, we will find a black rubber cap, which we can remove through a side flap, and inside the hole we will find the pump immersed in the fuel liquid. We unscrew the plastic ring, disconnect the electrical plug and then remove the delivery tubes. Now we can remove the pump from its housing, using rubber gloves. The pump is composed of two pieces. We can easily find the new piece on e-commerce sites; if it were a gasoline model, we could find it for example on Auto-doc with the code 4059191176731 at the price of 139.69 euros + 9.99 euros for shipping costs: for the reinstallation we proceed in reverse.

Installation of Upgraded Intercooler Radiator with Pipes

Lift the vehicle on suitable axle stands, remove the front wheels, and then the front bumper and grille. Proceed to remove the front headlights; drain the coolant, remove the intercooler radiator and the hoses connecting it to the intake system. Position the new intercooler radiator in the grille, temporarily securing it with cable ties, and mark with a marker the part of the metal that needs to be removed to allow the new hoses to pass through. Cut the marked portion of metal and apply a gasket to the edge. Remove the inner cover of the bumper and position it near the radiator to identify any interfering parts to eliminate: again, apply a gasket to the edge of the cut. Create brackets for securing the new radiator and proceed with the installation of the connecting pipes from the radiator to the intake, shaping and connecting them appropriately. Finally, reassemble the bumper, headlights, and grille.
