In the Audi 100 from the years 1989/1991 there are two fuse boxes: the main one is located in the engine compartment, next to the battery (passenger side) while the secondary one is located under the dashboard (to the left for models with left-hand drive). In some versions there may also be additional fuses near the glove compartment. To check and replace a fuse, we must turn off the engine and disconnect the battery, use a fuse puller, check the filament: if it is broken or burnt, we will have to replace it with one of the same amperage. It is very important not to use fuses of higher value, as this would lead to damaging the circuit.
