How to Replace the Engine Oil and Filter on an Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

How to proceed with the replacement: lift the car on a column lift, remove the engine protection panel and unscrew the oil sump bolt; allow the oil to drain into a container (tighten the bolt at the end of draining). Lower the car, then open the car door and pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Using a socket wrench, unscrew the oil filter, remove it, and fit a new one, ensuring it is properly seated around the thread. Top up with new oil.
