To deactivate the Start&Stop of the Audi A4, you need to start the engine by inserting the ignition key into the corresponding ignition switch: once the dashboard is powered on, you must press the button on the central panel of the dashboard with an A inside a circular arrow.

This will execute a temporary deactivation; to permanently deactivate the system, you need to connect a scanner to the vehicle's OBD port, located under the steering column.
