Removing Thermostat from Volkswagen Golf, Audi A4, 2.0 TDI

In this video tutorial, you will see the main steps to remove the thermostat on the 2.0 TDI engines of Audi and Volkswagen. Before starting, drain the coolant from the system by disconnecting the hose and letting it drain. Next, open the hood and use wrenches to remove the bolts from the thermostat pipe, then take out the thermostat inside. At this point, clean the area by removing the old gasket, then install the new thermostat followed by the hose; finally, tighten the mounting bolts and you're done!
