In this video tutorial we will see the main steps to be able to remove the thermostat on Audi and Volkswagen 2.0 TDI engines. Before carrying out the operation it is necessary to remove the liquid inside the circuit, disconnecting the sleeve and letting it drain. Then we open the bonnet and with the keys we go to remove the bolts of the thermostat tube, then removing the thermostat that we find inside. At this point we are going to clean the area by removing the old gasket and reassemble the new thermostat, followed by the sleeve; finally screw the fixing bolts and that's it!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
