How to remove the coolant temperature sensor of an Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 C5, MK 2 - Years 1997-2004
Part: Engine coolant temperature sensor

Before we can start, we will have to go and open the front hood of our Audi A6. So let's start by disengaging and removing the upper engine covers. After that, we will have to go and move the upper harnesses, and then we will have to pull out and remove the oil dipstick. At this point, we will have to remove the air filter block and its sleeves. By doing so, we will have reached the temperature sensor. We then proceed by disconnecting the relative plug. When we have completed this step, we will have to remove the clip that secures the coolant temperature sensor, then remove the sensor itself, and we will have finished the disassembly.
