Replacing the Cabin Heater Valve

Model: Audi A6 MK 3, C6 - Years 2004-2012

The flow of coolant through the cabin heater radiator is controlled by electric valves managed by the automatic climate control unit. Depending on the outside temperature and the desired temperature inside the cabin, the amount of coolant passing through the internal radiator is adjusted. If you need to replace the electric valves, open the hood and remove the plastic cover located just below the windshield. Locate the valves, then disconnect the connectors and hoses, working backward for the installation of the new ones. After installation, check the coolant level.
