Replacing the Air Conditioning Compressor on Audi A4 2004

Let's replace the air conditioning compressor on an Audi A4. Open the hood. Locate the starter motor. Disconnect the battery terminals that supply power to the entire vehicle system. Remove the screws securing the radiator at the top, then lift the car on a column lift if necessary. Remove the horizontal coil from the radiator using pliers, then use a wrench to unscrew the large hose from the top of the vehicle. Once free from screws and hoses, you can work on removing the air compressor in the engine compartment. At this point, unscrew the bolts at the base in the engine compartment to free the air compressor, then remove it along with the attached belt. Install the new replacement part.
