How to reset the "Service" warning light on an Audi A4

Let's start by sitting in the driver's seat of our Audi A4. Then we will have to activate the instrument panel, inserting the key in the appropriate housing. After inserting the key, we will have to press the "CAR" button located inside the central dashboard. Once this is done, we will have to select and confirm the "Service interval display" item. At this point, we will have to press and hold the central selection button, until the "Service" light disappears. When the warning light is no longer on in the instrumentation of our Audi A4, we can release the selection button, and the reset will be completed.

Lift the car on a column lift and (at your preferred height) use a socket wrench to unscrew the sump plug, allowing the oil to drain into a container (for disposal) and then re-screw the plug.
