Replacing the Cabin Air Fan Motor
Model: Audi A6
C6, MK 3
- Years 2004-2012
Open the hood, remove the plastic cover located just below the windshield by first pulling off the seal along the edge; remove the windshield wiper arms (you may need to use a puller) marking the angle with masking tape (this will help during reinstallation); unscrew the screws securing the other plastic cover under the windshield and remove it: next to the brake fluid reservoir is the cabin air distribution unit; then remove the cap to access the blower motor assembly, disconnect the power connector, unscrew the screws securing the control module while disconnecting the other connector for the speed control; free the wiring by disconnecting the other connectors, disconnect the control lever for the recirculation flap, and continue removing the screws securing the motor to extract it from its housing; then insert the new unit and proceed in reverse order.

Learn how to replace the engine air filter on a Hyundai Matrix: open the car door, pull up the engine compartment release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard, and lift the front bonnet. Secure it with the prop rod. Locate the filter box, then open the air kit (release the plastic clips) and remove the cover to extract the worn air filter. Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, refit the air box cover and secure it with the clips.
