Audi A3 - Video tutorial
Model: Audi A3
MK 2, 8P
- Years 2003-2013 The brake booster provides the vacuum pressure needed to make braking pressure easier for the driver to apply. When it does not work well there is a drastic reduction in brake performance. When this happens it is necessary to replace the brake booster. To do this you will need to have a socket wrench, a new brake booster and some tape. The brake line must be disconnected and the nut turned counterclockwise to remove it. It is advisable to mark the brake lines with adhesive tape because they must then be put back in the same position. With the socket wrench the brake pump will then be removed and the bolts that secure the brake booster to the vehicle will be unscrewed. The split pin will then be pulled from the brake booster pedal with pliers. The assembly procedure must be carried out in reverse order.

Frequently Asked QuestionsHandbrake adjustment on Ford EcosportFirst remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base. by ScegliAuto More videos
