Wear of the high pressure pump tappet is a very recurring defect on first generation FSI engines due to the thin thickness; in fact it seems that a modification has been made on the next generation engines and that the same can also be made on the old engines; in any case, the spare tappet is also easily available in the after market at a fairly low price (Ref. 06D 109 309D). Replacing is also simple, just disconnect the plugs from the high pressure pump, the pipes and unscrew the three torx pins that secure the pump to the motor; once the pump has been extracted, remove the old tappet and insert the new one.

How to replace the AdBlue tank on Peugeot 3008

In order to replace the AdBlue tank on the car it is necessary to know that it is located above the diesel tank and therefore under the rear trunk floor and to access it it is necessary: first of all lift the car on the deck, then remove the lower metal protective casing of the tank and under it we will find the diesel tank. Then proceed to disassemble the tank with the help of a forklift to support it. Once the diesel tank has been freed and lowered, above it we will find the small AdBlue tank.
