To replace the outside rearview mirror on an Audi Q7, pry at the bottom of the glass to release the retaining clips inside. Once the glass is removed, loosen the screws at the bottom of the glass to completely detach the cover. Underneath, you will find the screws that secure the mirror to its support from the inside; the screws that secure it from the inside can be accessed by removing the door panel. This way, by disconnecting the connectors, you can completely remove the mirror and replace it with a new one.
