Engine Oil and Filter Replacement

Model: Audi A4 B6 - Years 2000-2004
Part: Oil filter

Lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift and unscrew the drain plug under the oil pan to drain the used oil. It is preferable to drain the oil before replacing the oil filter to minimize oil spills. After draining, reinstall the plug, possibly replacing the copper washer. Proceed to replace the oil filter, which is located in front of the oil pan and can be unscrewed with a socket wrench. Apply clean oil to the gasket of the new filter and screw it on without exceeding the torque specification. Finally, fill the engine with clean oil until reaching the maximum level.
