How to replace the throttle body of the Audi Q7.
Model: Audi Q7
4L, MK 1
- Years 2006-2015
Cleaning the butterfly valve or throttle body on an Audi Q7 is a time-consuming but very important operation because the butterfly valve can sometimes become clogged with sediment that is not retained by the EGR valve, causing some problems with the engine and triggering the corresponding warning light. Therefore, before going to a workshop or buying replacement parts, it is advisable to clean the EGR valve, butterfly valve, and intake ducts. We proceed as shown in the video and remove the valve to perform a deep cleaning of the piece. If we notice that the valve is damaged, we proceed to repair the piece itself, replacing the broken part as shown in the video. Once replaced, we proceed to reassemble it on the Audi.
