In this guide, we will see the necessary procedure for disassembling and replacing the crankshaft oil seal of the Audi A4 2.0 TDI. In order to access and remove the oil seal, it is necessary to remove the engine block from the chassis, disconnecting the belts and removing the engine support; disconnect the hoses and pipes of the cooling system and remove the crankshaft pulley. At this point, remove the crankshaft housing ring, remove and replace the oil seal with the new one, installing the original oil seal; all that's left is to reassemble the timing system and the entire engine!
