In this guide, you will learn how to replace the battery in your Audi Q5 key (first generation, 2008-2017). First, use a flathead screwdriver to easily remove the back cover of the key. Next, locate the dead battery and replace it with a new battery of the same model.

Finally, reattach the back cover you removed earlier, and you are done.

All that is left is to test the key to ensure it works correctly. If it still does not work after replacing the battery, there may be a fault in the electronic components.
