Today's guide shows you how to remove and replace the starter motor on the Audi Q7 3.0 TDI, as well as on the Volkswagen Touareg. First, open the hood and start by removing the engine cover.

You will find the starter motor located at the bottom left, so it will be necessary to remove the engine mount. Next, disconnect and remove the alternator belt; then, unscrew the mounting bolts and disconnect the electrical wiring, removing and replacing the alternator with a new original one, applying the reverse procedure!
