Removing the steering wheel airbag from an Audi A5 follows the same procedure used on Audi models such as the A1, A3, Q3, and Q5. To remove the steering wheel airbag, rotate and position the steering wheel vertically. Insert a star screwdriver into the hole on it and push the internal lever.

This will allow the airbag to be removed; before fully extracting it, disconnect the connector. It is recommended to remove this system only after disconnecting the vehicle's battery to prevent the system from activating during removal.
