How to remove the Audi's airbag

Removing the steering wheel airbag on an Audi A5 follows the same procedure used on Audi models such as the A1, A3, Q3, and Q5. To remove the steering wheel airbag, we must first rotate and position the steering wheel vertically relative to its normal use. Insert the star screwdriver into the hole on the steering wheel and push the internal lever. By doing this, the airbag will be removed. Before completely removing it, disconnect the connector. We recommend removing this system only after disconnecting the vehicle's battery to prevent the system from activating during removal.
