After replacing the engine oil and oil filter, it is important to reset the service indicator to input the new mileage for the next renewal. This operation can be performed independently on a 2018 Audi Q8. To reset the service light, turn on the vehicle's instrument cluster and select "CAR" from the onboard computer.

From the second menu that appears, select "SERVICE SETTINGS", then "SERVICE INTERVAL", and finally select "RESET". After completing all steps, turn off and then turn on the vehicle to finalize the reset.
