How to remove the rear bumper of the BMW 1 Series

Today we will explain how to remove the rear bumper of the BMW 1 Series. We start by removing the side screws behind the wheel arch using a 7mm key. Immediately after, we remove the screws on the license plate to remove it. We continue the removal by unscrewing the upper screws on the lower part of the headlight housing. We then unscrew the screws on the lower part of the bumper. We remove the lower outer part of the bumper. We finish by unscrewing the screws inside the inner part and remove the bumper completely by also disconnecting the connector. The assembly follows the reverse procedure.
