How to remove the rear bumper from a BMW 1 Series

Today, we will explain how to remove the rear bumper from a BMW 1 Series. Start by removing the side screws located behind the wheel arch using a 7mm spanner.

Next, remove the screws on the number plate to detach it. Continue the removal by unscrewing the upper screws located at the bottom of the headlight housing. Then unscrew the screws located at the bottom of the bumper.

Remove the lower outer part of the bumper. Finish by unscrewing the screws located inside the inner part and completely remove the bumper by disconnecting the connector as well.

The installation follows the reverse procedure.
