How to reset the "Service" light on a BMW X3?

To reset the "Service" indicator on a BMW X3, follow these steps: turn on the instrument panel without starting the engine, using the Start/Stop button. Once the panel is on, use the buttons on the steering wheel to access the onboard computer menu. Navigate through the menu until you find the "Settings" section and select the "Maintenance" option. Within this menu, you will find various items related to maintenance intervals, such as oil change or general inspection. Select the interval you want to reset and follow the instructions on the display to complete the reset. Hold down the confirmation button until the "Service" indicator turns off, indicating that the system has been successfully updated. After the reset, the indicator should not turn back on until the next scheduled maintenance interval.
