How do you replace the battery of the BMW 2 Series?

In order to replace the battery of the BMW 2 Series, you need to open the hood so that you can completely disconnect the panel located at the base of the windshield. Once the screws and rivets holding the panel in place have been removed, you can completely detach the panel, accessing the underlying battery. The battery will be located on the driver's side and can be removed from its housing by loosening the screws and disconnecting the connectors. At this point, you can remove the old battery and insert the new one.
