How to Install a Camera on the Rear Hatch of a BMW X3

In this video, see how to install a camera on the rear hatch of a BMW X3. First, open the rear hatch of the vehicle. Then, remove the interior trim from the hatch by unscrewing the screws on the plastic trim with a screwdriver. Disconnect the license plate light from the hatch. Use a plastic trim tool to remove the interior covers (located between the frame and the plastic trim) of the vehicle. Finally, route the wiring from the camera to the dashboard (connect the power cables to the head unit that supports the camera) of the vehicle. For reassembly, proceed in reverse order.
