Replacing Door Speakers

Model: BMW Serie 5 E39 - Years 1995-2003
Part: Speaker

Start by removing the handle cover, then unscrew the screw located on the edge of the door at the level of the air vent. Using a plastic spatula, gently remove the panel along the edges, which should be carefully pulled upward. Disconnect the electrical contacts by unplugging the connectors, being careful not to tear them. Remove the speaker bracket and take it out. Remove the speaker from the bracket by taking out the four screws and install the new one, also replacing the foam gasket with a new one. Before installing the new speaker, insulate the faston contacts with electrical tape and gently tighten them with pliers to ensure a perfect connection. Reassemble the new panel, starting with connecting the electrical wires. Position the panel upward and then push it down until it clicks into place. Reinsert the screws.
