In this tutorial we can see how to disassemble the ignition cylinder in the BMW 3 Series, an extremely simple and quick operation. To do this, we will need the original key, otherwise it will be necessary to contact BMW assistance. First of all, let's go inside the cabin, then remove the lower cover of the steering column, insert the key and bring it to the second position. Next, find a thin screwdriver, an Allen key or any equivalent tool, insert it into the indicated hole and pry. At the same time, pull the key outwards and remove the cylinder from the housing.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
