Installing an Additional Control Unit

Once you open the hood, remove the protective cover on top of the engine, locate the fuel rail, then find the sensor on the right with three wires and disconnect it. At this point, insert the two plugs of the control unit, the first into the previously disconnected connector and the other into the connector on the engine. This will create a bridge that connects the additional module to the vehicle's electronic system. Next, position the wires and the control unit in a slot in the engine compartment that is sufficiently protected and shielded from any unwanted movement to avoid interfering with other mechanical components. Reinstall the plastic cover on the engine head.
