How to check the engine oil and coolant temperature on the BMW 1 Series F20/21

On the BM1 Series 1 version F20/21, there is no possibility to see the oil and coolant temperature directly. However, there is the possibility to access hidden menus, which can give us the opportunity to monitor these important data, just by making a few simple moves. Let's see how to do it: as always in these cases, it is an operation that is done with the doors closed, start the engine and hold down the button located on the bottom left of the instrument panel. After a moment, we will enter the hidden menus, which are four: press briefly to scroll through them, until "unlock": here the unlock code is needed, which is the sum of the last five digits of the vehicle's chassis number, and we will enter it by pressing the button briefly, then hold it down to confirm. Now 19 pieces of information are given in sequence. The temperatures are at number 8; hold down to confirm and press briefly to check the various available temperatures. To turn off the hidden menus, simply turn off the engine.
