Remove and Replace the Timing Chain on BMW 5 Series

Prepare to remove and replace the timing chain on BMW 5 Series: use a fixed wrench to loosen the chain tensioner roller and slide the chain out of its seat. Use a socket wrench to remove the tightening pin of the chain tensioner, remove the chain and the metal plate covering it. Install the water pump (previously removed), the chain tensioner, and the chain itself, tightening with the socket wrench. Finally, tighten all the tightening pins with the appropriate fixed or socket wrench and verify the correct installation of the previously mounted parts.
