The instructions provided in this guide will allow us to disassemble and replace the timing chain of the BMW 1 Series with N13 engine. First, we open the hood of the car and start disassembling and removing the upper cover of the cylinder head, moving away the pipes and unscrewing the fixing screws; then we remove the crankshaft pulley, disconnecting the V-belt, as shown in the video. At this point, we take the necessary references for the removal and replacement of the timing chain, installing the new original one.
