Removal of Front Door Panel

Model: BMW Z4 E85, E86 - Years 2002-2008
Part: Door trim panel

Using a plastic spatula, remove the plastic cap located at the center of the panel (the one with the AIRBAG label on it) and unscrew the underlying screw; repeat the same operation by removing the cap located behind the opening lever.
Detach the cover of the inner handle from the bottom and unscrew the two mounting screws.
Remove the triangular plastic cover located near the rearview mirror by disconnecting the connector attached to it.
At this point, using the plastic lever, disengage the pressure clips along the edges of the panel and pull it forward to extract it from the window seal; disconnect the opening cable from the lever and the connector connected to the speaker.
