How to remove the ignition button on a BMW X1? Let's carefully see in this video how to proceed with the correct disassembly. The button to remove is located to the right of the steering wheel. Proceed by using a screwdriver (pry between the button and the dashboard plastic), rotate slightly to the right, and pull it away from the dashboard (bringing the button towards you). Disconnect the power connector. To reinstall it in the dashboard: insert the ignition button of the car into the dashboard opening after connecting the power cable. Test the proper functioning of the button.
