How to restore the service of a BMW X1 E84

On this vehicle, before performing the reset procedure, it is important to ensure that the clock on the onboard computer displays the correct time, as each service reminder is internally counted, and the counter is used to determine if an extra service is needed. Insert the card into the ignition slot, without pressing any pedals, press the start button twice, press and hold the button at the bottom left of the tachometer for about ten seconds: the first service reminder will appear on the display. Select the parts to be repaired by moving the toggle switch up or down; press the confirmation button on the lever and then press the reset button until the RESET message disappears from the display; press and hold the confirmation button. During the reset, a clock symbol will appear; release the confirmation button and if necessary continue with the next service reminder.
