The steps to reset the service light related to the maintenance of the BMW Series 1 are simple and quick to perform on your own. To execute the reset, we need to turn on the instrument cluster by pressing the start button, then we must press the BC button to initiate the reset, keeping the button pressed. The update of the kilometers until the next service will be completed in a few minutes. Once the reset is finished, we return to the main menu and restart the instrument cluster. If the reset is not successful, it may be necessary to go to a workshop for a computerized diagnosis. For assistance requirements, you can refer to the Idrive section of the onboard computer.
