Disassembly and Replacement of Cabin Air Filter
Model: BMW Serie 5
E34
- Years 1988-1995
On the BMW 5 Series E34, the cabin air filter is located behind the center tunnel. To replace it, you need to remove the side panel at the end of the tunnel on the passenger side where the courtesy light is, the glove compartment on the passenger side, and finally access the cabin air filter housing: remove the old filter and insert the new one, ensuring the airflow direction is correct. Then reassemble the previously removed parts. On the BMW 5 Series E39, the filters are located in the engine compartment, just under the windshield, near the shock absorber mounts. Release the retaining spring of the cover, lift it, and remove the old filter to insert the new one, reposition the cover, and reattach the spring; repeat the same process for the other filter.

How to Remove the Front Brake Pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser
To remove the front brake pads on a Chrysler PT Cruiser, position the car on a column lift and raise it to a comfortable height. Unscrew the pins using a socket wrench or air drill and remove the wheel. Then, use a screwdriver to detach the brake pads. Next, remove the caliper bracket and unscrew the pins on the brake disc (using a Torx screwdriver). Pull the disc towards you to slide it off the hub. Install the new brake disc with all associated pins, secure the caliper bracket to the disc and the pads, then mount the brake caliper, ensuring all pins are tightened properly. Before mounting the wheel, bleed the brake caliper and tighten the pin. by ScegliAuto More videos
