Where to Find the Battery in the BMW 2 Series

In this video, we will see where the battery is located in the BMW 2 Series. It is typically found in the engine compartment, but it is hidden behind a dark plastic cover that conceals most of the suspension/wheel arch area. There are no screws; the cover is secured only by clips (or simply snapped in place, depending on the version). Grasp it and lift it firmly. You may need to remove a rubber seal or a small cover from the fuse box that is sometimes located above it, at least partially. This is an AGM battery, so if you need to replace it, you must purchase a battery of the same type. The positive terminal is covered by a protective cap. Under the hood, there is a separate jump start terminal for starting with cables.
