What to Do If Your Car Gets Stuck in the Snow

Model: BMW Serie 1 MK 2, F20, F21 - Years 2011-2019

In this video, we will see what to do if your car gets stuck in the snow. First, dig around the wheels with a spade or your hands to remove some snow from the tyres, creating a small ramp for exit. Add grip under the wheels using the car mats, as shown by the YouTuber, or some dry twigs. If possible, deactivate the traction control (it’s a button with a swaying car symbol). For starting, if the vehicle has a manual gearbox, start in second gear; if it has an automatic gearbox, set it to 'snow' mode or lock it in '2'. In any case, avoid jerking; acceleration should be smooth and steady. Do not rev the engine unnecessarily and remain calm.
