How to Remove the Speaker from a BMW i3

Is the speaker mounted in the door of your BMW i3 damaged? Here’s how to remove and replace it. Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever to detach the plastic cover above the door panel; unscrew the securing screws and detach the panel. Remove the speaker (unscrew the screws), pull it away from the door panel, and disconnect the power terminals located behind. Take a new speaker, connect the power terminal, and use a screwdriver to tighten the securing screws around the speaker. Refit the door panel and screw in the securing screws.
