How to Remove the Rear Seats of a BMW 3 Series

Let's see how to remove the rear seats of a BMW 3 Series. Remove the seat bottom (lift the seat by hand) until it completely detaches from the floor of the car. After removing the seatbacks: take off the metal brackets at both ends of the seatback (mounted on the car's body), using plastic or metal levers to assist with the removal. Detach one part of the seat from the car's body (perform the same operation on the other half of the seatback). Install the new rear seats by reversing the steps.
