Removing the Cabin Fan on a BMW 3 Series

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

Remove the fan on a BMW 3 Series. Open the hood, and use a pry tool to remove the plastic cover under the windshield. Use a screwdriver to remove the screws from the cover where the air fan is located. Remove the cap from the container with a screwdriver, then unscrew the air fan. Extract the damaged air fan. Insert the new fan into the engine compartment. Screw in the fan screws and reinstall the cover plastics. Check that all previously removed parts are properly installed. Test to see if the fan works.
