Battery Replacement Instructions

Model: BMW Serie 3 E46 - Years 1998-2006

The battery is located in the rear trunk: open the trunk, ensuring it is supported safely, and lift the internal cover; unclip the pressure clips of the plastic cover of the battery compartment and remove it. At this point, unscrew the fastening pins of the terminals, those of the battery hold-down bracket, and disconnect the vent tube. Remove the old battery from its location and insert the new one, connecting the respective terminals securely; then tighten the battery hold-down bracket and reposition the plastic cover and the trunk compartment cover.
