Replacing Accessory Belt on BMW 3

Removing the belts on a BMW 3? Let's see how to remove and replace them in the engine compartment. Open and lift the hood, disconnect the engine cover, and remove the cooling fans above the radiator (to create space). Use a wrench to loosen the tensioner pulley and slide the belt off. Use a socket wrench to remove the tensioner pulley mounting bolt and unscrew the mounting bolts of the alternator. Remove the belts from the engine compartment. Install the new belts and tighten everything with the socket wrench. Reinstall the radiator cooling fans.
