Replacing the panel on a BMW 3 Series? Let's look at the removal process. Pry off the protective plastic above the panel with a trim tool: remove the screws located inside and the screws in the upper lever space of the door opening. Remove the window switch panel, unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel, and detach the retaining clips. Disconnect the panel from the door (unplug the power harness and the opening cable). Perform the desired maintenance inside the door and install the new panel (screw in all the retaining screws).
