In this video tutorial, you will learn how to remove the tensioner on a BMW 3 Series with a 3.0L engine. Open the hood and loosen the tensioner using a ratchet wrench to remove the belt.

Once done, unscrew the tensioner bolt with a socket wrench to take it off, as shown in the video. Then, install the new tensioner by first hand-tightening the bolt and then tightening it with the wrench to the proper torque.

Reinstall the new belt by loosening the tensioner to complete the job!
